Our Mission

Created to honor her life, strength, and compassion.

The Alexandra Richmond Foundation was created to honor the life, strength, and compassion of Alexandra Richmond. As a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Alexandra touched the lives of countless people with her kindness, resilience, and genuine love for others.

Inspired by her courageous battle with esophageal cancer, our mission is to advance awareness, fund innovative research, and support efforts toward earlier detection, improved treatments, and ultimately cures for esophageal cancer. Every dollar raised brings hope to the patients and families facing this devastating disease.

Advance Awareness

Most people can't name a single symptom of esophageal cancer. We bring it into the open, so it is recognized sooner.

Fund Research

We direct contributions toward innovative research and the clinicians pursuing earlier detection, improved treatments, and ultimately cures.

Bring Hope to Families

Alexandra's family became her caregivers, advocates, and fighters. We stand with the patients and families living that same fight.

Protect Animals

A passionate advocate for animals, Alexandra believed every animal deserved care, compassion, and protection. In her honor, a portion of the Foundation's proceeds may also support animal welfare initiatives.

"To know Alexandra was to know kindness, positivity, and unconditional love."

Alexandra was an extraordinary wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and animal lover. She was one of the kindest souls to ever grace this world. In July 2022, she was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, and what followed was three years of remarkable courage.

She fought harder than anyone could imagine, surrounded every step of the way by the family who became her caregivers, advocates, and fighters. This Foundation exists so that her legacy continues to make a difference.
